There is no maybe about it.. If you have "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account "
Then your Windows 10 is linked to your login ID it will follow whatever PC you use that login on to do the Windows 10 Install.
When this won't work
There are situations where the process won't work:
- The installed copy of Windows does not match the edition the digital license is linked to.
- The type of device does not match the type of device the license is linked to.
- Windows was never activated on the device.
- You reached the limit of re-activations on the device.
You can not activate Windows 10 Pro if your license is for Windows 10 Home ect...
When reinstalling Windows 10 after a hardware change–especially a motherboard change–be sure to skip the “enter your product key” prompts while installing it.

Login and go to Devices Tab here to can manage the Devices linked to your Microsoft Login ID and delete any that you no longer use/own.
