Windows 10 Build 10240 not coming through on Build 9926?

I am currently running Windows 10 Build 9926 due to having issues installing Build 10162 using a USB. I had Build 9926 installed before and successfully updated to 10162 however a failed graphics driver install forced me to reinstall and since Microsoft pulled build updates a few days ago I was stuck with 9926. Microsoft recently released Build 10240, however the update hasn't come through yet for me. I am on the fast ring and signed in with a Microsoft Account. I was wondering what is the normal time window for a build update to come through?

You should have had the update by now mate, I suggest you clean install a later version than the one your on, if your computer can take it and try to update from there.

I think there's a chance that since build 9926 is so old you may not be able to upgrade to 10240.

OK will try to install a later build. Do you think Build 10122 should receive the update?

I would try out 10166 but I had issues going from that to 10240 for some reason yesterday. I had to get a copy of the ISO(from a good source) and perform the upgrade from there.

Managed to find an ISO for 10166, just downloading now ~5 hours to wait. Only problem I may have is the product key since I don't have it. Hasn't Microsoft disabled product key activation now for Windows 10 Builds?

    Hi there

Note that this is now TH1 not the old fbl_impressive branch. You need to have been signed up to receive Insider previews and logon with an Ms account to get the update. Builds 10162 / 1016 I think are the last builds available without using an Ms account.

I think also that if you aren't already signed up --it's too late -- I believe (could be wrong on this) that Ms has temporarily suspended new people from signing up to receive insider builds until AFTER final release.

    Cheers
