Not really, the Creators Update is a new system with added features, hence the name. But ya what you say works too. :) It`s just new features added to the AU.

That is how Microsoft is doing upgrades. There will never be another version of Windows, they just keep updating or as they say upgrading W10.

The only gripe I have is that we`ll have to keep clean installing the new build, if we want o do that, most of us do, I know I do, but only after a month or so.

Just another name for Rs2(Redstone2), who knows maybe Rs3 will be called W11 or W10.5 or maybe George or Peter or Lucy

Microsoft are, I understand, now working on a bi-annual updates/upgrades cycle so we should have another before the end of the year.

One other thing is that a lot of the ability to defer feature updates including the stated 365 day delay option was actually added in the Creator's update so would not really be useful to delay upgrade to CU

Defer upgrades is only available of the Pro versions I believe.
I don`t see that in Pro, only defer Feature Updates.

OK thanks for that input :)

I do remember there was a slow ring and a fast ring with the RTM, not sure if it carried over to the AU.

You have to switch the Pause option On to display the drop downs to display the delay time - defaults shown for current branch are set to 7 days but dropdowns allow delay of up to 30 days for quality updates, or 365 days for Feature updates
