Since I've a sluggish internet connection I always use the MCT to download the ISO file. However, the installation took 1hr 15min from the ISO file.

My Home Pro upgrades went easy peasy. My Education upgrades not so much. I have some settings locked out and a "Some settings are hidden and managed by your organization" message. Even on clean installs so they screwed something up with that version. I'll end up clean installing Pro to get full functionality.

    My turn :

Upgraded my desktop 5 of April 2017 it seems faster but I put that down to more memory being used now to access everything quicker (so what is new really ?)

Upgraded my Gamer Drive & tested it with my 1 & only game which then proceeded to crash, I then downloaded a fresh usb install copy & re-installed to find it was still the same so I have installed Win7 instead (working fine with no freeze crash - fyi), will have to wait for a repair ?

It may not work, I have 5 on Pro & only 1 gives this error. Settings appear identical on all.
"Choose when updates are installed" is greyed out & is fixed to "Current Branch" which is okay but have been unable to determine why.

Have seen this happen on some Insider Previews about 6 months ago. Reverted to an earlier version, performed the update again & it was good for about 10 minutes. Probably best to ignore it until a future update fixes it. There are many "fixes" on the internet & none have worked. Reports of the current issue are being reported to the Insider Hub. If MS fixed it before, they should be able to fix it again. Probably something to do with telemetry which they continue to "enhance".

I wish they would discontinue these "enhancements".

Getting harder to distinguish between a "bug" and a "feature"?

I'm not seeing it in the normal places though. No such message on my Windows update screen in settings.

My Home and Pro installs are fine. I can even install Pro, all settings are fine, upgrade to Education with change product key, and then I see the message. I'll be going back to pro on my laptop latter on today. This one I'll leave as is for a while. Juts to see if Microsoft fixes it. The settings that are locked out are no big deal. It doesn't affect usability for me.

I've upgraded two of my Pc's with no issue. On the 3rd PC it got stuck on 95 percent and it's still stalled after 2 hours. May have to power it off and hope that it reverts to the previous build.

Installed CU yesterday. A slow process for me, but EASY with only one issue. Apparently Malwarebytes and the new Windows Defender may have a conflict when it comes to updating Defender Definitions.. Temporarily disable Malwarebytes for now and the issue seems resolved.

Count me in the happy group.
