Corrupt file error when booting windows 10 dvd.

While using ubuntu 17.04 I downloaded and burned the windows 10 iso 3 times with three different iso's and dvd's and get a corrupt file error when the installation reaches finishing up. Using brasero to burn dvd. What could be the problem.

The latest .iso is just a little too large to fit on a standard DVD. You'll need a dual layer DVD to fit it on. I'm not familiar with brasero, but did it complain about the size? Did you need to select an 'over-burn' option? If so, the data may indeed be 'corrupt' - or just plain 'missing'. This thread goes into the details...

How large were the .iso files you tried to burn? If you want to find a smaller .iso, then try using HeiDoc's...

What Bree said ^^^. Use a double layer DVD and burn it at the slowest speed. Will your computer not boot from a USB flash drive?

Ok first answer, the iso is 4.3 gig and the dvd is 4.7 gig so I think it should fit, I could be wrong. Next I am not really sure how to burn an iso to usb in linux, mostly use linux loader in windows to do it, but it is not available in a linux version. Also no complaints about file size, burns till done and ejects dvd as expected.

PS Running ubuntu 17.04 only. Upgrade to creators update messed up system, was attempting to fresh install with 15063 iso.

Just an update. Seems for whatever reason, if I reboot with usb connected after corrupt file error, the installation succeeds. Still scratching my head on this one. So as far as the dvd goes, perhaps if I rebooted again the same would happen.
