    FREE upgrade from W7 / W8 / W8.1 to CU upgrade STILL working !!!

    Hi there

Clean install CU edition from an ISO using W8 key (old Technet key --still kept those) works fine and activates.

    Cheers

Did a clean install on my Laptop that has an OEM Embedded key for 8.0 Core. The CU Install media didn't auto read or use it. I was prompted for a key. The AU install media will auto read and use it. Just a FYI post. I would say the end is near.

If you going to do it, I'd do it sooner than latter. They already announced officially that it was over, so you won't get any warning when they do finally close the tap.
