    Thanks for that.
    Had a look in the log files no joy I'm afraid.

    What did the log files say?
    I should have said earlier, there may be other files with the same names which aren't related to the Windows setup. The real ones should be quite big files (and have dates/times around the time you ran the installer of course).

    Tried the suggestions for Windows 8.1 - No luck.
    I do have an Nvidia card in this one. Had problems with some other machines.
    The most helpful thing in the log file was:
    DIAGER CWfpER::SetHeader:Setting header=Microsoft Windows Installation encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. But nothing around this entry .
    The error log file has :
    TableTextServiceMig!ApplySuccess() remove HKLM Registries error
    as its last entry

    If I was to install the Insider Iso for 15063, does it expire like normal Insider builds?

    The machines I have managed to upgrade say no expiry date.
    Build 15063 is the one that's coming down the pipe for everyone this month.

    Just did a clean boot & it killed my computer.
    Constant reboot on setting up.
    Eventually came up with a watchdog timer error BSOD
    Not happy
    No way to boot back to old install either.
    Back to 14393 for me & new computer time
