Why would a new Laptop have an upgraded version of Windows 10?

I installed a new OS on a blank hard drive and I have it. Windows has been really bad since Windows 7. I wish 10 was as good as it. Maybe they'll get it right next time. If they stop trying to suit the phone.

My question is why wouldn't a major manufacturer just install the Anniversary Edition clean in the first place?
Why install an old edition and then rely on the end user to go through an upgrade update?

Totally agree. I never even knew about the anniversary update. I stumbled upon it when looking for an answer on Google as to why my icons kept going away. And I stumbled upon it and it solved it. Is there an anniversary update for Windows 10 Pro?

Can you set Windows mail app to auto sync instead of syncing every time I get mail on my phone I have to sync mail app on Windows Mail app.
