You can create recovery media > control panel > recovery > create a recovery drive
    OR
PC settings > recovery > Refresh or Reset PC

Either way your recovery appears to be properly registered and should now work as intended...

I'm not at home now and I'll be at about 3 hours. Can I ask. What next if this won't work?

As it is not possible to register in Vista Forums I ask m y question here, facing a similar problem to recover a vista OEM installation on a packard bell easy note. I have finally booted with a vista DVD and select the repair option. Went in command prompt and launched diskpart, finally found the recovery partition, then unhide it and assign letter R to see what was inside. Many folders and one with swm files. I don't know how to boot on this recovery partition as reagentc is not recognize when I type it. Question is how to capture this recovery partition and make it bootable to restore the initial system. Other thing I can't do is reinstall the system over the Windows partition (even formatted. Leads to an error code at 67 % . Thanks for any helps. Nice day.
