Need download latest ISO as used from Mediatool but states 4GB updates

I`ve downloaded iso from windows 10 mediatool but after install there is an icon on desktop for updates. When clicked, its saying I need 4GB of updates. Is there a way to get current iso or download a later version for install? I`ve got a fair few systems to do and its a lot of time and internet usage for me.

    I`ve tried 32/64/both downloads
    Thanks in advance

I downloaded the latest Iso the other day, it was 4.42 GB

An icon for updates on your desktop is unusual, I`ve never seen that.

I think that's the Upgrade Assistant, I believe you get it if you take the first method in the link you gave: 'Using the tool to upgrade this PC to Windows 10'. The second method is the one most of us use: 'Using the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file)...'.

But he said he downloaded the Iso to do the Install.

sl3, did you create an install dvd and do a clean install ?

What version of 10 do you have installed ?

I used media download tool. For another PC, Win 10, English UK and version Both. I downloaded the ISO then used rufus to create USB boot.

I installed 64 bit Pro version

I'll post a screenshot after I've had some sleep

    It'll explain it more easily.
    Thanks

You should have just used the USB method to create a bootable USB drive. MS gives that to us....so there's no need to use Rufus.

Note: I do use Rufus and quite like it for Linux Distro's or any other ISO to create a bootable USB device.

Personally, I find using diskpart a lot easier than messing with Rufus. I do it that way because I usually get my ISO's via MSDN. If your using the MCT though, just let it create the bootable thumb drive for you. The ISO via the MCT is updated periodically, even so, you will likely get one cumulative update via Windows update to make your install current. The next update to the MCT likely won't happen until the Creators Update is released.
