I think it's worth mentioning, though, that the MCT you have downloaded will always download only the ISO that was available at the time you downloaded the MCT. In order to get the most up-to-date ISO file, you must download the most up-to-date MCT.

Very good point. And not something that is obvious to most people. I only figured it out myself via trial and error.

Me too, I leaned from my error when 1607 came out
Last week I deliberately used the 10240 MCT because I wanted its .iso for testing. I can confirm it still downloads the original release.
