Well i really dont want to do that unless totally essential. The biggest problem with this 10147 is i cant get the store to open.

Sorry man. You're stuck with those issues. Like MS said, Win 10 preview isn't for everybody. It's should not replace your day to day PC. It will be buggy. It will crash. It will break your PC.
When the new build is out, most of us here will do a clean install. Because we know that is the best way of doing it. 10147 is not an official release. It's a leak. 10130 is that last official build released by MS.

Well; i think for right now; I am going to re-install win 7; then go back and reinstall 10130 and hopefully that will fix things at least in the short term anyway.

    Matt,

If you were planning on upgrading from Windows 7 to 10130, then it would be better to directly clean install 10130 instead.

I know it would be shawn; but I dont want to lose all my files even though I have a backup of them. Its a pain in the u know what to have to go through restoring all the files and waiting for my backup to restore.

well sadly it looks like I dont have a choice but to do a clean install because it wont run my windows 7 install disc; and it wont let me go back to the previous build so Im stuck in a corner here so to speak.

    Matt
Does your 7 disk start at boot? If not have you set your dvd to star first in the Bios?

Even if you can't roll back all your data will be contained in the Windows.old folder so you won't be losing anything.
