Windows 10 64-bit version installing on a new Laptop?

Hi,

I am considering to buy myself a new Dell Latitude series laptop and I want to clean install Win10 on it.
I want to install the 64-bit version of Win10 but how can I make sure or know if that new laptop (or ANY laptop) on the market will have a x64 based processor in which I am running now as shown from my image.

So in order to be running Win10 (64bit), a system must have a x64 based processor, but how will I know this when I am in a market for a new laptop?

If you look on dells site for the pc it should give the specs and show what Windows it comes with

Looking at advertisements, if 4GB RAM or greater is mentioned it's a sure bet it's a 64-bit computer with a 64-bit OS/Operating System. Haven't seen many with 4GB running 32-bit OS [a limitation] although a 64-bit CPU can run a 32-bit OS.

But once you start with the 32 bit the allocated memory drops to 3 gigs, the limit 32bit can address.

I think you would be hard-pressed to find a new laptop that wasn't 64-bit compatible. Seems like you are putting too much worry into something that isn't going to be an issue.
