Windows freezing at start of install

    Hi,
as stated I cannot get windows to install,( on a seperate machine) its like a timer goes off and the process just hangs. I have tried USB and DVD but after the language choice screen appears I have about 3 seconds and headphone, keyboard and mouse lights go out and the process stops. the iso size is 3.416gb but came with no version number?
    Thanks
    Guiness

You can get fresh 1607 version from Microsoft. Search Windows 10 media creator. USB or ISO. Watch search result for true Microsoft web page. There are other ISO's listed within these forums that can also be downloaded.

There is a page in the Ten forums on your MB.

https://www.tenforums.com/installatio...-win-10-a.html Have you reference it? It also references another post when dealing incompatibilities.

    Guiness,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Are you doing an upgrade, or a clean install?

    Guiness,

If you are installing W10 on an older machine, please take a good look at the Windows 10 System Requirements!
