Windows 10, restored on virtual disk, flickering at login screen, cann

after some trials to restore my Windows 10 installation to vhdx and boot into it, I always end up with Windows booting but hanging at the login screen, not allowing me to login normally.
I can boot into safe mode, where i tried:
    - disabling all startup
    - disabling all services
    - even deinstalling nvidia graphics drivers
But always, the issue remains, the logon screen gets shown, flickering, that's it.

    any help appreciated!

    no answer to this?

having connected the virtual disk at the same time with the original, identical disk, might that be a problem?
Some unique disk id needing to changed?
should this question be moved to the Virtualization forum?
