    Unwanted Windows 10 Upgrade - I Thought We Were Done With This

    I just had a call from a client who awoke in the middle of the night to see mysterious activity on his computer. In the morning, VOILA!, he had been "upgraded" to Windows 10! This at the end of September, not July. WTF? Anybody else encountered this?

    MS acknowledged the possibility by releasing a solution - Remove software related to the Windows 10 free upgrade offer KB3184143

    There is a 10 day period after the upgrade to Windows 10 when a 'go back to previous version of windows' is available. It's in Settings - Update & Security - Recovery
