How to return from Wind 10 build 1511 to 1607 after going back

Hello. Yesterday I received the last anniversary(?) update from Windows 10. From that moment an expensive program did'nt work anymore. The supplier advised me to press; start - setting - recovery - go back to earlier build.
That worked and now, instead of build 1607 I'm back to build 1511 and the pogram works again. Now this program will have an update to work under build 1607. How can I return to build 1607? Or will Windows just push it in after some time? Thanks!

Hello, you can try Windows update manually via Settings, Update. Or just wait.

You can also apply it manually by downloading the iso or creating a bootable medium (MS media creation tool) (just search or see the guide in the Tutorial section here).

It is worth keeping a Win 10 bootable medium to hand - it can be useful for certain repairs.

What "expensive" program? You'll get more help if you explain what you are trying to do rather than be vague. There are many many software packages in the world . Some of them are "expensive" - it is a relative concept - for example Unreal Engine 4 costs $750k

Anyway you can download 1607 from the MS site and just upgrade if you want by clicking on setup.exe
