OK Anniv.update issues again - 93 % this time WITH ERROR

Well just to wrap things up...finally got it done!

Not 100% sure what was it ultimately but here's what I did:

- ripped out all drives except C and optical
- uninstalled all motherboard (ASUS) drivers
- uninstalled Chrome which had been crashing anyhow

...ran from DVD for the 12th time or so and NOW it went thru and quickly too. Maybe 10 minutes maximum and it was done.
Hooked the drives back up and here I'm running finally with the latest build!

That's the way to really do it... if you have to
Hmm, sometimes a clean install is the only way.

Now, to put off the next one for quite a long time, start using disk imaging routinely to protect your PC, your sanity and your time.
