Windows 10 Enterprise Image Matching
Sorry guys, I didn't know how to give this a proper title.
Here's our situation...
I work at a college where we have multiple images covering various needs. I've managed to pare this down to 2, being EMPLOYEE and PUBLIC.
Here's the rub...
We have a tech on staff who likes to wait until we're well started in deploying our images before he points out that something may be missing or not working as it should (like the Cortana Search feature for W10E - French Canadian, where the documentation from MS says clearly it is NOT presently supported) and then makes a huge issue of it (never mind that EVERY OTHER feature works properly). He will then proceed to build a computer, install all of our apps and software (proprietary and otherwise), CLONE this, install it on a bunch of other computers, put them on our domain (causing multiple issues) and then, if he remembers to or if he feels like it, will rename the machines before they are sent out. Sounds like it's not much of a problem, except that the start menus are the STANDARD MS menus and NOT the customized ones we created, there is NO provisioning for COPY PROFILE (and therefore subsequent logins from users DON'T get ANY of the features that he has "fixed" to work) which of course generates calls to ask us why "Billy's" computer has all the MS Office apps in the start menu and mine doesn't.
We have campuses and satellite offices all over the place and therefore need to address much of these issues via Remote Desktop Applications.
My question is simply put, this: is there a way to make all the machines "the same" by generating a provisioning package that will "fix" the start menu customization as well as the profile migration WITHOUT having to reimage all of the machines that he's sent out? (This would create absolute havoc as most users have already "customized" their machines with Web favourites, work files etc.)
I hope I've explained this well enough to get responses...
Regards,
