Could you guys explain to me where in this original post does Alphanumeric mention he is talking about version 1511:
    You mean this:

Digital Entitlements are still being handed out. I upgraded my 10 Education install to the Anniversary update. It was originally activated with a Retail Product code (MSDN). After the upgrade it showed Activated with a Digital License linked to your Microsoft ID. I just did a clean install with a skip key and it activated with that Digital License.

Right here, "upgraded to anniversary edition", "originally activated with retail product code", "after the upgrade showed activated with digital entitlement"

EDIT: It's the post you quoted and then proceeded to tell me what digital entitlement was.

Followed by screenshots of Windows 10 Education activated with a product key in post #83.

Again you twist things around. My original post was stating that in 1511, I did not have a digital entitlement, period. I'm not debating what a digital entitlement is, I already know that without you trying to impress use with your uber knowledge. My screen shots show that in 1511, when installed with a product key, it does not get a digital entitlement. It is not automatic. That PC did not have a digital entitlement before July 29th. When I upgraded after that date to the Anniversary edition activation switched to a digital entitlement.
We've had these conversations before. I can understand it that admitting being wrong is hard and you will never do that. We have members for whom however invalid information may be they post, it's more important not to admit being wrong than letting someone correct it.

Windows 10 current stable release is version 1607, the so called Anniversary Update. Whatever activation and installation / upgrade method is used to get it activated, its license will be digitally stored in MS activation servers. It really has nothing to do with "Hey look MS is still granting digital licenses or entitlements!" because all Windows 10 licenses are in digital form after its initial activation.

I was criticized now for using Windows 10 Home edition in video example when you had talked about Education edition. OK, if you guys think that activation methods and how they work are different depending on edition, tell me which edition you want me to use to again prove being right?

However you install and activate the current, stable version of Windows 10, its license will be digital and you don't have to enter the product key ever again when reinstalling after initial activation, or after upgrading from a valid activated earlier build of Windows 10.

I'm not wrong though, if you actually took the time to read the post you originally relied too. You obviously didn't read it. I was referring to build 1511 being activated with a product key and then build 1607 switching that too a digital entitlement. You then proceeded to tell me that every activation of Windows 10 gets a digital entitlement, which is not true. You talk about me, shoes on the other foot right now. I eaten my words plenty of times when I've been in error.

OK.... guys - wait a minute, I think I discovered the answer. Look at this website and read it carefully:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...-10-activation

This webpage was clearly edited by Microsoft to apply to the Anniversary edition.
Digital license (called a digital entitlement in Windows 10 Version 1511) is a method of activation in Windows 10 that doesn't require you to enter a product key.
That statement proves it is post-Anniversary update release. Now further down:

You bought a copy of Windows 10 from an authorized retailer.
Product key -(On a label inside the Windows 10 box. A digital license will be given to your device for Windows 10 based on the valid product key you entered.)
That statement is also post-Anniversary update release because prior to the Anniversary update it was not a digital license, it was a digital entitlement.

You bought a digital copy of Windows 10 from an authorized retailer.
Product key - (In the confirmation email you received after buying Windows 10 or in a digital locker accessible through the retailer’s website. A digital license will be given to your device for Windows 10 based on the valid product key you entered.)
Same thing. So it is very clear from this Microsoft website that they have changed the way they activate Windows 10 in version 1607. Prior to version 1607 it was not a digital license, it was a digital entitlement. Now this website says that yes, Microsoft is issuing a digital license upon the entering of a product key. But digital licenses did not exist in version 1511. And there is absolutely nothing to prove that alphanumeric did NOT get a digital entitlement upon entering a product key in version 1511 of Windows 10 Education.

Just did a second clean install of 10 Education 1511 on that same PC, and did a "I don't have a key" here is the activation screen, believe me or don't believe me. I set the clock to Atlantic time before doing the capture.

All I'm saying, and have been saying since that post: Is in 1511, with the education edition I never ever got a digital entitlement. Nor do I think I should have. It was not a free upgrade. Then when I did the upgrade to the anniversary edition, it switched to a digital license. IMHO, I don't think that was intended. I was then promptly schooled on what a Digital Entitlement was. Even though I clearly know what it is. And that person should know I know.
