Recreated the bad posts I made today 08.10.2016

Did a search but can't find one important post I made today - so I'll try to recreate it:
I have two SSD drives. The 1TB drive has two partitions (it is a dual boot). The primary partition is for programs only and takes up about 1/2TB of space. The secondary partition now has Windows 7 loaded and I was using it as a 'sandbox.' It also takes up about 1/2TB of space. I propose to reformat that partition since I don't need W7 anymore.
The second drive is 1/2TB (SSD also) and I use it for DATA only. Any program that lets me choose my own path to data uses that drive. IMPORTANT: Any programs I've downloaded have their execution file stored in this drive. All I have to do is update any old installations of programs I want to keep. This drive also holds all the latest driver software - so I'm all set there. The clean install will force me to get rid of programs I will never use again.'
The issue I dread is copying over to the new clean install all my settings which are imbedded in the programs. I envision a lot of rebooting - going back and forth between my corrupt W10 installation and my clean install. Is there a better way?
With the above information, how should I go about performing a clean install of W10?
You mentioned the BIOS and a one time boot option - I can't find that post. Could you resend it to me? I didn't understand most of it and had questions.
You guys have been very kind to me and I certainly appreciate it. So now that you (hopefully) know my drives better, where do I go from here?

    Hi.
Just so you know, for searching posts, you can go to your user page, click on the Activity tab, and then click on your name, and see your posts starting with most recent. When you want to look at one, right-click the "see more" and select open in a new tab.

I believe the one time boot menu for Dell is f12. Tap F12 as soon as you see the Dell logo. One it is gone, it is too late. Have only the drive you want Windows installed on connected. Once the install is finished, shut down the computer and reconnect the other drives.

You want the OS and all programs on the SSD. That makes everything you do much faster. All your User files and Data can go on the Mechanical Hard drive. Here is a Tutorial on how to clean install Windows 10 including a video. Your install will be slightly different than the video, because of a different build. But, it is very close to exactly the same process. The Tutorial gives a lot of info. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1...n-install.html

I don't think that includes the edited posts though, only new posts I believe.

OK, thanks. And I don't think this works with reposts. Bummer. But please take a look at the post I made about an hour ago which explains all about my drives and what's on them. They are BOTH SSDs.

Yes, I did. And @essenbe will help you with the proper setup for the clean install. I'll be on the sidelines, as he is the expert and I don't want to confuse things.
