Force Windows 10 Upgrade (Skip Hardware Check)

    All-

I am trying to upgrade a Windows 7 system that I know will run Windows 10. I downloaded the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and it won't allow it because the system reports 1.99GB RAM, when it is really 2.0 GB. I can add more RAM later. It's an office PC.

Is there a way around this?

Download the ISO file. Download a program to mount the ISO file in Windows 7. Run setup.exe from the virtual DVD drive that opens when the ISO file is mounted.

How do I mount iso image file in Windows 7?

Just make sure to download the ISO file that matches the version of Windows 7 that you have now.

I figured it out. I just disabled the WMI Windows Service and it skips the hardware check.. or passes it anyway.
