OK, I think I know where you are. There is an icon of a windows flag in the bottom left. Click it and the screen will change. click it again and it should go away

click settings, then the last one, Update and Security. you should get another screen, on the left there should be an activation option, click that, click change Product key and put your Windows 7 number in there. then activate on the web

I went and tried and managed to enter the key, and followed the next steps and Windows is Activated.

I believe that was our stated goal for today.

Should I "Mark as Solved" as this goal is achieved.

You must be relieved to know I won't be asking anymore questions today unless you recommend it.

    Hugs and kisses where appropriate,

    baumgrenze.

You can mark it as solved if you think it is solved. But you can still ask whatever you need and we will help you set it up if you like and maybe familiarize you with 10. Whatever you need.
