I followed simrick's notes I printed and it re-partitioned to 500 MB reserved as System and 118.8 GB primary. It is installing files now.

I'm glad our house is a 1-story, flat-top Eichler. Even so, it is 30 steps each way from my machine to this one. I won't be doing by constitutional, but I'm walking all the same.

Can't wait to get back to my old 'comfort keyboard, too. I keep hitting wrong keys.

I'm booted in Win 10 on the 'use the express settings' page.
What is the most expeditious way to get to where you want me next?

Just use express settings for now. We can change all that later.
DO NOT sign in with a Microsoft Account. Use a local user account.

When it asks to setup Cortana, say "maybe later" - it's real small, way down at the bottom left.
