Resseting Widows 10-how the experience was like?

I have in plan to refresh my PC. Also, I saw option Reset my PC. It says that it wipes everything, and heard that it is better in some cases that refresh option. Did anyone have any problems like it stuck at some point (like Installing Windows 10 and it won't continue etc.), and when you do a refresh, did anyone have a problem that data wasn't saved?

Second question, do you suggest me to do: reset or refresh. I'd like to my PC be faster (not freezing programs things like that) than at the moment (it's not much slower than it was when I got Win10 for first time)

Did anyone have any problems with stucking at some points? I need to know that because I don't want to install another build. How to see what build do I have? I saw somewhere that I have 10500.
