Because of the issues yesterday - want to get my W7 license sorted before I attempt upgrade again.
When I put the disc in I get the following window ...
I went a couple of steps in ... it says it will install one copy pre-activated of any W7 version
I have multiple HD .... could I install on a different HD without impacting current install .... just concerned about impact on BIOS
This is another bad sign if they are all in the system....meaning the MBR is on a previous HDD which could be part of the activation error you are getting.I have multiple HD
Even if HD is in same machine connected to same mobo.?
If it is OK I could try an install ... can I just add it to a HDD or should I create a new partition.
windows activated r2 ??????
