From the Print screen I provided #3 you can see there is no option for Restore.

Many people on here use the same free 8.0.7690 version you have . They will explain how.

    @Bree will know

I think it is something like browse to the macrium image. It will then be displayed like a disk along with any other disks you have attached. Select the disk/partitions you want to restore. Which is done with little tick boxes, I think. Then select the disk/partition you want to restore to. Then click a button that says something unintuitive like "finish" which actually means start.

You might also be able to drag and drop partitions from the displayed image onto the partitions you want to restore to.

Some macrium fans hovering on this thread now, they will be able to explain it.

When I open Macrium within the USB the restore options I see are Redeploy.
When I select Redeploy it says I need to purchase a License.
When I open Macrium within Windows I can restore an image:
To do a reatore when booted from the recovery usb, first click
Have you figured out how to restore an image booted from a USB?
Redeploy is intended to help when restoring an image of one machine to another that has different hardware and needs new drivers. Even though I have a licensed Reflect as well as Reflect Free, I've never needed to use Redeploy. Windows 10 is quite capable of sorting out the drivers it needs itself.

@SIW2 is correct, you start by selecting Restore > Browse for an image or backup file to restore.

But there's no real need to convert to GPT with an efi partition, your Windows 10 can boot from an Legacy bios/MBR install just as easily as it can from a UEFI/GPT one.

There's a useful tool on the Reflect recovery usb that should be able to get both your W10 and W7 installs booting again. elect Other Tasks > Fix Windows boot problems. Reflect will list all the installed Windows it can find, select the ones you want and it can rebuild the bcd boot men for you.

My Image is on a NAS on my network.
I selected Other Tasks, Network config, It's showing Intel Ethernet Connection with a status of Connected
I selected Browse for an image file. A window opens with all the partitions on this laptop.
I don't see the network. I need the network.

Somehow I opened a window (I don't know how) and Somehow I was able to create a Mapped Network Drive to my NAS.
It didn't show but I closed the window and selected Browse for image again. This time while showing all the partitions it also showed the network drive I created. I was able to start the restore.

    Hi,

this post seems to be exactly what i need to fix my problem.
after installing a SSd and migrating windows 10 on it, i tried to remove my old HD and windows would't boot. i realized that the EFI partition was still showing on the old HD but not on my new SSD.
i followed your instructions to create a new EFI partition on the SSD but when i type the bcdboot X:\windows /s S: i get a "failure when attemting to copy boot files" message. (i replace the X with C which is the volume of the SSD where windows is)
    can you help me?
Thanks for this, was helping a friend get to Windows 11...then completely broke his computer so this saved me from a awkward conversation :)
