Some how without my permission update of W7 to W10 was started.... It is in process already about two days !!...distroided all my plans...
I have fast internet and laptop ( Acer Aspire S5) so it looks strange....what to do ? May I interrupt process and continue to work with W7 ?

Simplest method is to decline the EULA when prompted this will roll back to your previous install

If for some reason you have already accepted this have a look here ...

Downloading or actually installing? What message do you see on the screen?

Like I said? Is it downloading or actually upgrading? What screen/message is showing on screen? It may be waiting for you to click an button? The actual upgrade should be only an hour at most, for most people. The actual download of the install files can take days but that should happen in the background.

I find (and sorry if it is not a helpful comment) that for me upgrading my 2013 i5 laptop takes about 20 or 30 minutes.

You may decide you don't like 10 and you can then revert back. This process (for me) takes longer for some reason than the upgrade. Perhaps an hour to revert to an earlier version.

Neither process takes hours or days.

I'd take the upgrade personally as (if you do it now) you'll get your Windows 10 permanently activated. After next month you'll have to pay for it.

There is no message on the screen - just circling mouth mark...

Hard reset. The upgrade will give up and you'll end up back on 7 again.

If it's been two days on that screen its likely never going to go any further. Try ctrl alt del and if that doesn't work your likely going to have to do as advised above. Press and hold the power button to force a shutdown and hope it recovers OK.
