    Hi OldMike65,
That is not disbling totaly the UAC. For complete disable you have to go to the Registry and set EnableLUA=0
You Don't need too!! That was my point.....just turn it off where I showed in my pic .....it will not pop up with any warning msg's Turning it off in your registry might give you problems down the road.

    Hi OldMike65,
As you say, UAC is still in place and yes, I need to disable UAC in Registry in order to get things work that I need. Windows 10 is Blocking some Programs that are working OK in Windows 8.1. And that way of "Take Ownership" is too much confusion. How do I explain the users of my Programm what they have todo ? Would they be able to do it right? Will they destroy there system because of this? My Programm is a Multi-User Databse and also in W 8.1 it has to be installed in other Partition than C:\ otherwise it is not working savely, I mean, there will be Data corruption. Installing in other Partition is already a big problem for my users, they need to have very knowledge of PC. That ideia of Blocking and LOcking Drive C:\ is too Bad for me, thought it is a save , a complety harmless app.
I have now spent 3 weeks investigating what was going on with my App and I am tired of that.
Thank you, but I will install 8.1 today.

Sounds some re-coding will be beneficial, your customers will be on W10 sooner or later.

That's true, trend is toward dumbing everything down.

    @Adalwar
Don't know if you have read this tutorial about adding a Take Ownership command to your context menu or not. This would give you ownership of any file with just a click of your mouse.

Thank you very much , at least something that helps a litle to overcome theses nonsen dificulties.
I tried it, and it works thought it is not a nice (clean thing) and it take several time. It has to process 798 Files and 9 Subfolders and what the user is becoming to see is scaring, that schrolling of processing files, may be he will get an Heart-Attack.
Anyway I am not sure if I can use it on the distribution, because in Europe the are very strengh Laws about "invading" other peoples World including PCīs.

Well, I have the filling that the people at Microsoft are laugfing at me.

    Thank you.
I did got the update but no changes. I believe it got worse, then I put a CD in drive and was poping up a windows wiht "you have no rights", I had to open explorer, open folder, and "Run as Administrator" . Well, for me than is no "Security" is just making things more dificult, it is taking longer to get things done. This is frustrating.
I will stop with Win 10 I can not lose more time with it, and at the there will be no change at all.
They are not doing what should be done, like ask for a Administrator Password for to Install a Programm and that should be enough. Also, instead of blocking the entire World just because they donīt like Programms in Windows Partition, then they should create a Partition solely for Windows and let user thing on their own. That would be the best security for Users, in case of a failure in OS partition it would not afect User Data.
I will go back to Win 8.1 that is the last nice Version
Again , thank you your help.

Ok Wish you nothing but the best then. Sorry the updates didn't fix your problems. I run Windows 10 Pro on 3 different computers, 2 are over 9 years old, with no problems. Take care Adalwar. Mike. :)
