If it's an appropriate build then yes. DVD, iso file, USB are all usable.

    From the tutorial:
    5. To Do a Repair Install of Windows 10 with USB Installation Media

    A) If you have not already, you will need to create a Windows 10 installation USB flash drive.

    B) Connect and open the USB flash drive, and run the setup.exe file to start Windows 10 Setup. (see screenshot below)

    Will give it a shot.

Well the repair worked like a charm with the updated USB installation; however, it did not fix my font problem.

I really am tempted to go back to win 7 just for the graphical UI improvements.

I assume there is no way to do an in-place update of win 10 back to win 7 to avoid re-installation of all the programs.

Hi, you have 30 days from upgrading to revert to previous version (Shift + restart + navigate via Troubleshooting). That's what your Windows.old is - your previous Windows folder.

Otherwise restore the disk image you remembered to create before upgrading... well, if you did.. recommended procedure.

Please also feel free to search the forum for

etc - quite a lot of threads.
