    windows 10 32bit to 64 bit

    Hi guys,

My HP i3 G62 came standard windows 7 64bit 4gig ram, currently im using windows 10 enterprise 32bit. It detects 8gig ram installed on the laptop , my problem is that i want to use 64bit but wen i install windows enterprise 64bit laptop displays automatic repair and boot loops. it wont work with 8gig / 4gig of ram. It will only startup with 2gig of ram.

    Please help solve this issue.

    Thank you in advance

    Welcome to the forum.

A memory test would be a good place to start. Having no problems with a 32 bit OS does not mean memory is OS.

Also, any change from 32-bit to 64-bit or 64-bit to 32-bit requires a clean install followed by installing drivers for the version.

A clean install of 32-bit would require that version be on the Thumb/Flash drive [or DVD disc if that is a possibility], obtained the same way as the 64-bit was but choosing the 32-bit version instead then running that.
