    HDD Poplation


    Can you please explain to me how to disable the function in Windows 7 and 10 on how to disable the function of "populate" under the properties menu. ???

    Hmm.. could you post a screen shot of the populate you're taking about. That should help out others answering this question.

    I looked around explorer and I had no idea where to really start. A screen shot would really help out here. IMO

    A screen shot or a little more info would help. I checked in the properties of my drives and don't see the populate option.

    You use this to make sure someone is using GPT or MBR partitioning.

    Pressing the populate button will dispay the partition style and other data. Why it would need to be disabled I don't understand.
