    Missing DLL File

Cannot figure out just where or why this error is happening.
I replaced my printer which was a HP 6700. I used the control panel and removed it from devices and printers.
I then installed the new one which is a HP 7610. It is working fine.
But everytime I start the system or do a restart I get this error.Missing DLL File-capture.png
How can I get rid of the error occuring?

Arc I tried to create the system info file and tried both steps described by Brink and each time I tried to attach the file I get a message that the file is invalid.

It is Boozad, not Brink this time.

Can you try the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions ?

It will create a zip file on the desktop of your computer. Upload the unaltered zip.

    Remove this item from Startup:
    Code:
Monitor Ink Alerts - HP Officejet 6700 (Network) monitor ink alerts - hp officejet 6700 (network).lnk DESKTOP-KQL01VG\larry Startup
How to remove items from Startup:

    1. Right click on the taskbar and click on "Task Manager" in the context menu.
    2. It will open Task Manager with "Processes" tab selected. Click on the "Startup" tab.
    3. Select the aforesaid item and click "Disable" at the bottom right corner.

See how it goes. Let us know.
Then reboot the computer. Let us know if the issue is gone or not.

By the way, I am not Boozad! That tutorial is written by Boozad.

    Hi Arc;
Thank you for fixing the message.
no longer shows when I rebooted and did it several times.
I usually use Revo Uninstaller but have not been doing it since 10 came out. thought perhaps that the uninstall left something behind.

    Yes, leftovers are there.
    Code:
    HPWia2_OJ6700 28.0.64.0 608.39 KB (622,992 bytes) 6/13/2012 01:22 PM Hewlett-Packard c:\windows\system32\hpwia2_oj6700.dll
    Code:
    HPScanTRDrv_OJ6700 28.0.1175.0 2.60 MB (2,723,216 bytes) 6/13/2012 01:22 PM Hewlett-Packard Co. c:\windows\system32\hpscantrdrv_oj6700.dll
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\HP\HP Officejet 6700 Public:Start Menu\Programs\HP\HP Officejet 6700 Public
But those will not cause a big issue now.
