    Hi there

Can't answer your question but remember most Stable and Latest are not usually the same.

I'm 100% satisfied with the current retail arm with "Normal" updates for general use --for any new builds I'd probably try on a spare machine or a VM or even keep using the Insider build on a dedicated machine I have for that purpose.

These days I rely on the old Engineering principle --"If it ain't broke don't fix it".

Experimentation is one thing but messing up a perfectly satisfactory running system is quite another - and there's been enough history with W10 to show that some upgrades can cause even the most basic things to stop working --remember for instance the progress bar when copying files -- that was only a few updates back.

I'd imagine the stuff on MSDN is likely to be the nearest to "General Release" though.

    Cheers

The current, newest MSDN ISO, is 10586.104. I did one clean install with it on my spare desktop PC just to verify what build it was. That PC has been turned off since then. The older previous ISO is also still up for download on MSDN.
