You may be better off updating to W10 via the Media Creation Tool.
Follow this tutorial to see the various options you have:

Use this Tech Bench link to download the iso file and do an in-place install.
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

Windows 7 won't mount ISO files natively. The OP will either have to install a third party program to mount the ISO file, or alternatively just click the Upgrade Now button on this webpage:
Windows 10
Well...that depends on a lot of factors. If the user wants nothing more than the "Get Windows X" experience provided by Windows Update - the Upgrade Now button will do just exactly that.
If the user wants to make a Windows 10 install DVD or USB to both upgrade from and have for later use, then the Media Creation Tool (Download Tool Now button further down the same webpage) built-in USB/DVD creation method is the least complicated way of making one and also seems to (in my experience) be most universally "accepted" to boot from by most PCs - more so than using RUFUS.
If the user wants to be able to do DISM repairs and/or other manipulations with the install image, then the Tech Bench download is the best way to go.
All just IMHO.
