I thought that I had "won" this stage to get Win 10 BUT when I installed the ISO that I had downloaded from the techbench link given in a previous message I got Windows 10 HOME but I wanted Pro. Now if you look at the website it clearly states " Windows 10 editions below are valid for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional" so I assumed that the ISO would cover the two versions but it does not. Entering the Pro product key brings up the message that it has not got the image for that key product. If under the "select edition" heading there is only WIN 10 offered in N and KN form and the single language version which is the one I downloaded.
Any ideas or have I missed something ?

Why did you select Single Language ?
Is that how you original OS come with ?
Under Select Edition box, there are 4 selections...............
    Windows 10
    Windows 10 KN
    Windows 10 N
    Windows 10 single language.

Windows 10 should be your selection......... the 1st one on the list.

I am afraid you will have to start over again.

I chose Single language because it was a smaller file as my broadband is rubbish but it still says "Windows 10 editions below are valid for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional" which I assumed would do what it promised !!
    Thanks

It will do what is promised. It will install either Windows 10 Home Single Language or Windows 10 Pro Single Language. You will, however, need a Single Language product key in order to activate it. It sounds like you have standard, full, regular versions of Windows so, unfortunately, that is what you need to download and install. Do you have friends nearby who might be able to make you a DVD or USB flash drive?

Ok thanks---I guess I will have to download the full version ISO as that is what I have the product key for. I did not realise that single language and multi language product keys were not the same.
Had enough now--brain hurts so off down to the PUB for some lubrication to forget this saga !!!
    Cheers all
