Media Creation Tool did not generate current ISO win 10 version

Hi all
Thanks for all the suggestions ! you are correct I used an old copy of the tool. If I hover the mouse over the exe file I get the 10240 version. I did not realise that the tool was specific to a release version.
So thanks to everyone for your valued help. I am 72 years young and still learn something new every day !!!
