    Hi there

Sometimes what's clear to posters of threads isn't always obvious to the subsequent readers. It's often quite hard explaining stuff which might seem obvious to one person but confusing to another --believe me I've taught in enough classes in my time to people of all sorts of different abilities and interests and it most definitely is NOT easy.

Not having a go at you but I was confused into what you actually wanted. No offence meant but that was my point.

    Cheers

And I do have to apologize. I should've rephrased what I had originally written. I quite often not catch things when the context is off, so I'm not really in a position to argue.

The .iso does already contain the correct boot configuration for UEFI. I just use Diskpart to set the drive then copy over the files from the mounted .iso. When a new build becomes available, I remove the prior files and copy over the new ones.

It does need to be formatted as Fat32 to be UEFI bootable. You do of course need the x64 bit version of the OS.

The isos require me to move files from microsoft/boot to /boot and extract the EFI file from install.wim for my computer to even acknowledge the installation drive.

The attachment is an install USB drive for Windows 10. No extra files have been required to be copied since Windows 7.

For my computer I had to follow step 11 of the tutorial I linked to in order for my computer to see the USB drive as a Bootable os.

Well you should check those settings in your setup. I have no idea, how is it possible to enter setup from an UEFI version of Windows 7 if using of the function keys/esc/del boot-time does not help, in case of 8/8.1 this can be done from the Shift+restart menu.
And why would you want to use ANY bottable USB stick creators for an UEFI system? Just copy the contents of the .ISO to a FAT32 formatted USB stick. Done. Windows 8+ can natively mount .ISOs, so nothing hard there, on 7 and older just use a virtual drive (eg Daemon Tools) or a simple archive extractor (WinRar, 7-Zip). Those other tools (Rufus and YUMI) are intended to help on BIOS systems, when you need the MBR of the specific OS to be installed on the stick.

Possibly a stupid question, but when you are trying to boot from USB, are you doing a Restart?

If you just do a Shutdown then (if you have the default 'Fast Startup' enabled) it is really going into a form of Hibernate, and booting from USB or DVD may not work. I only mention this as I'd forgotten it myself and it caught me out yesterday.

    shutdown /s /t 20
will do a full shutdown (but a forced one so be sure to save all documents before you try it).

OK, for the record: I got it to work BEFORE I posted this thread. And I'm going to be ignoring this thread now because although I could've clarified things better, I am having difficulty writing responses that are not rude or insulting.

UEFI is designed to only work correctly with Fat32 boot flash, that's not to say that I have not seen ntfs flash drives work.

I configured my drive GPT and formatted Fat32 and my UEFI bios detected it no problem. No special files required.
