You are currently in a grace period where Windows will continue to run, even though it is not activated. SLMGR -REARM, resets that grace period and allows Windows to continue to run not activated. You are allowed only a limited number of rearms until the operating system quits running until you activate it with a valid product key.

The only ways to keep it from attempting to automatically activate, and fail because you don't have a valid product key are illegal.

Basically, you are currently on limited time until your Windows 7 will stop running and give you a message that you must activate it with a valid product key before it will run again. It looks like you have 30 days grace period and 2 rearms left, so that means 90 days.

Did you upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate in the past using a disc or file you downloaded from the internet? There were a lot of "self-activating" illegal copies being sold, which is why your product key got blocked - it was one of those used in the illegal "self-activating" schemes.

I haven't upgraded it to windows 7 Ultimate as it was already installed by HP service center.

But as I didn't want to spend for a new windows 7 key, I have used WAT remover and now there is not even a section showing the activation status(Right-Click "Computer" -> "Properties" ).

And that ends our discussion here on tenforums because we do not discuss nor advocate illegal activation methods.

Piracy isn't good.. But in some situations, people are compelled to do it, even if they aren't willing..
ajs11 also did it. But I recommend you to get a Genuine Windows to enjoy all privileges which are given only to genuine users.
I know you have been in this trouble not because of your fault. In my opinion the fault is with the service center guyz.. Bcoz the product key used by them lead to these troubles. I know you are disappointed. But don't stop your tries. If you still wish to get to Windows 10, just buy it.. I know it's expensive. But that's the only way, the only genuine way..

I think this thread has came to an end. So I think the admins should consider removing this thread from the forums as it is not much beneficial for other users (my personal opinion) and this thread contains personal information (I have noticed some that kind of information). And it is also ended up in a piracy discussion..
So I think it shall be removed!!

You were supposed to obey rules...
And you failed. (Just a small mistake from your side)..

(Admins are suggested to remove this thread, to maintain the forum rules..)
