You can`t just copy it Jesse, you have to use burning software.

Burning it makes it bootable, otherwise it`s just a data dvd.

Chuck that dvd in the trash, it`s useless.

You can use windows to burn the disc, but I suggest just using this.

    Any questions just ask.

It seems to be working though. It's installing Windows on Laptop's VMware player.

I guess because you are not booting from it, you are just using the files.

But if you wanted to install it on your pc and do what we call a clean install, you would boot directly from the dvd or a flsh drive when you first turn on the pc.

That`s different from what you`re doing now :)

You can read up on it here, while you`re sitting around the fireplace

I will probably need to do a clean install on my Laptop whenever the full version of Windows 10 comes out, because it is an older system than my desktop with Windows 8.1. So, I will need assistance on that whenever the time need be.

Yes, it has Windows 7 on it. Why can't I do a clean install?

    I don`t mean you can`t, I`m just saying you shouldn`t.

You are right about that. I will explain to you why I am wanting to do a clean install as soon as it finishes setting up on the VMware Player. But, if you say its not a good idea then I won't do it. But, I will have to find out another way to get Windows 10 on there.
