Funny it logs to a drive lettered x:. Are you booted into a working install of Windows on your (typically) C: drive when you run this command? Error 21 in this situation could mean there is a problem with the install.esd file (corruption perhaps, as you mentioned).
The file in question should be install.esd as you said it came from MCT. A TechBench iso would have install.wim instead.
Can you confirm in File Explorer that there is a file named install.esd on your iso DVD at the path [DVD drive letter]:\sources\ ? What is the size reported?
i can only run the dvd in boot menu or it wont work but theDrive L says ESD ISO
i will buy more dvds cause i have none left i do have usb flash drive should i use that instead
Perhaps so - It should be faster in any event than a DVD. If you've not done that before, you can follow Brink's Tutorial here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html I realize you've probably been at Option One, Step 7 in the tutorial but it wouldn't hurt to confirm all is going as expected.
do i download the techbench iso image would that be the better option i wont do it tongiht but i will tomm....
Just use the windows 10 media creation tool and select to create a usb stick. Just select windows 10 - usb will be dual home/pro.
