Downgrading Windows 10 Edition from Pro to Home without reinstalling?

I've been looking for it for a couple of weeks, but couldn't find any answer. I'm really sorry if it's been explained already on these forums, but I haven't found it.

My question is straightforward: is it possible to downgrade an edition from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home without having to clean reinstall?

I've been wondering why my Win10 wouldn't activate itself until I realized I installed the wrong edition.

Thanks in advance for your help, Ten Citizens.

I changed the entries in registry as mentioned. Not sure what to do next though. Any idea? Thanks, D3LL.

I tried booting from USB drive to "upgrade" to Windows 10 Home, it asked me to boot to Windows and then upgrade via my USB drive. But when I do so, it will only let me reinstall Pro. I'll try to create another media with only Home on it.

It was not my first upgrade to Win10, I didn't have to roll back actually.

I went full berserker mode and decided to get rid of it. I simply clean installed Windows 10 again (for at least a tenth time already!) and made sure to select Home Edition this time.

It's all fresh and working. Thanks for your help, good guys. I will mark it as solved.
