Kernel security check failure during installation

I've tried updating to 10 a few times over the last couple of months - I've tried updating all my drivers as I've seen that suggested elsewhere but it hasn't helped so far. Any help would be appreciated.

    Where to get windows 10

The installation media can be obtained through either of these two resources.

    Tech Bench
    OR
    Windows 10

Once you have the ISO, you can use Img Burn to burn it to a DVD or Rufus to burn it to a USB Thumb Drive, either of which you can use to perform an in-place upgrade to a previously qualifying version of Windows, by simply double clicking the setup.exe application from within the Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 w/update Operating System.

Please backup all your critical data and or perform a disk image before proceeding.

    Sinan90,
You have already tried "updating to 10 a few times over the last couple of months " and failed.
Before you try again, I would suggest that you do the followings in the order they are listed.....................

    1. Run a full virus scan with the AV program you have. Make sure the machine is clean.
    2. Do a disk check to do repair if needed.
Right click at Start button > select Command Prompt (Admin) > copy & Paste this .........
    chkdsk /f /r

    >press Enter

You will see a message saying something like "can't do it now but do you want to do it on restart ?"
    Type Y as in yes.
    Restart computer.
The disk check process will begin.
It could take quite some time. Be patient and wait.

After you have done the above 2 and if the disk check repair is successful, try updating to Win 10 again.
