Should "ESU for Microsoft Windows 7 SP1" be installed on Windows 10?

This turned up in my Geek Uninstaller as an entry and it seems very out of place. My HP Laptop Pavilion dv7 is starting to run slow with more frequent application crashes. I had to do a hard reboot a little earlier as well. Every start-up and every user profile start-up has a long period of a blank black screen, then eventually does start up. But it is much slower than normal.

So I'm uninstalling recently installed stuff and noticed this "ESU for Microsoft Windows 7 SP1". In Windows 10? What the heck? The Microsoft website says it has something to do with making Windows 7 more efficient.

Does anyone know anything about this? Could this be part of my problem?

ESU stands for Extended Security Updates. These W7 updates are of no use whatsoever for W10. Uninstall it.

Windows 7 ESU include security updates for critical and important issues as defined by Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) for a maximum of three years after January 14, 2020. After January 14, 2020, if your PC is running Windows 7 and you have not purchased Extended Security Updates, the computer will no longer receive security updates.

There isn't one. 1903 is currently in full support.
