    Memory Stik Question/Clean install Win10

I originally upgraded my Win 7 64b to win 10. Had issues, so downloaded the Media Creation Tool and installed a clean Win 10. I messed up the password question and enabled the password and couldn't get it resolved so decided to reinstall again. I thought I'd reformat the usb media stick just in case it had issues. To reformat, I put the disc in the drive and right clicked and hit format.
I then put the usb memory stick in the drive and tried to reboot. I won't boot the the memory stick. I tried changing the boot sequence in the bios to boot to removable device but it still goes straight to Win 10.
Do you think I did something to the memory stick so it doesn't work? Any ideas?

You erased it when you formatted it.

Sorry, I'm a little rattled; I formatted the memory stick then downloaded the Media Creation Tool again.

Did you recreate the Windows 10 USB flash drive using option 1 after you reformatted it?:

Yes, and I selected 'Create installation media for another pc.
Did I format the memory stick correctly?

The media creation tool will reformat the USB flash drive anyway. If your computer has blue USB ports (USB 3.0) and black USB ports (USB 2.0) make sure to use the black ports. Some computers only support USB 2.0 when booting until Windows USB 3.0 drivers load.

Well, I decided to go back to Win7 until 10 gets a little less buggy. Thanks for your help.
