Ok I am using Minitool but am not getting the option to "Convert MBR to GBT" or vice versa. I backed up my data.

Did you highlight the disk 0 (click on it).

Can you post a picture of the screen?

Oops actually if I highlight Disk 1 (there is no zero on this list) I get the option. If my main disk is called Disk 1 with this software, should I change some of my next steps?

As long as you are changing the correct disk (you should see all the partitions in minitool) then go ahead.

Your picture of diskpart showed it calls it disk 0 (and you are right minitool calls disk 0, disk 1).

Double check in diskpart with list disk that the correct sized is still number 0 after but it appears diskpart starts from 0 and minitool from 1.

Ok thanks I understand. I didn't have a USB with 4 gigs so I burned a Win 10 ISO to a DVD, is that ok?

Ok I just tried converting it and got the error from Minitool: "This disk contains system partition and converting this disk to GPT system will cause your system to be unbootable."

Is that an error or a warning? If it is only warning try to continue as we are rebuilding boot files after.

Does it help if I delete all my partitions first? If I have to wipe it and somehow re-install, can you let me know how to easily get all my programs back?
