    Reset Windows 10

Ever since installing Threshold 2 my Surface 3 has been very sluggish. Because of this I think my only option is to reset the OS, however before I do that should I deauthorize software that needed online activation (i.e. Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, etc.) first? Or will the activation's be preserved?

    Hello thunderclap, :)

I'm afraid that a reset will remove all installed programs, but you'll just need to reinstall them.

Thank you for the link. On a whim I removed my virus scanner (Bitdefender) and the system went back to its usual speed. The program works great on my main desktop but not so well on an Atom processor.

I'm glad you didn't have to reset.
