Any way to get Win10 Home and Pro on one USB drive?

I used the Media Creation Tool to make a Win 10 Pro upgrade flash drive which has worked fine. I then tried to use that same drive on a friend's laptop today and I kept getting prompted for a Product Key. I realized that he was running Home Premium and the flash drive was going to install 10 Pro.

The Windows 10 folders don't seem to have the ei.cfg file any more so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way I can get Home and Pro on the same drive so I don't have to use up 2 drives or keep redoing the drive with whichever version I need at the time.

    Thanks.

Microsoft switched back to the old MCT, that only gives out Home or Pro. Try this download instead, http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...eationTool.exe That should get you the 10586 MCT and the Home and Pro multi edition ISO that can install Home or Pro.

That looks promising. Just says Windows 10 and doesn't specify Home vs Pro. Trying it now and we'll see how it goes.

    Thanks

It's both, Home and Pro. If you use it on a PC that doesn't have an embedded key you should get a menu asking you to chose Home or Pro, then a prompt for the product key. When used on a PC with an embedded key it auto install based on the key detected with no prompts to chose.

Seems to me the only difference in the downloads is whether I wanted the 32-bit or 64-bit version as either download has the Home and Pro software, depended upon what I was trying to upgrade and would choose the proper path.

I did use the choice of Both to get the 32-bit and 64-bit install files onto a USB Thumb drive yesterday, about 5.5GB. Looks like there will be a choice to make as to which will be installed but I won't know for sure until later today or tomorrow, will be an Upgrade on one and update on another. The necessary files are on the drive as shown in the left panel of this image with the version number in the right panel. The left panel also shows the 10586.11 updates files I obtained for offline installing, names starting with Cumulative.
