Need to upgrade Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro

WEll...

I have started the upgrade. I removed the incompatible program. It was stepping through the install. It was at a black screen with a big circle, saying 22%. Also had a message it would reboot several times.

I left it for a bit. Came back to it, and the monitor is dark. Not receiving a signal. At this point I have no idea if it's continuing or not. I'm guess I'll leave it for a while. OF course with no view to what's going on, I can't do a normal shutdown.

I guess I'll try turning it off hard...after waiting an hour or so. Then try F5 when starting and see if I can get into a safe mode or something. I don't even know if safe mode is still available, but I presume it is.

If no luck I'll have to try to do a restore.

Okay, the reboot was successful. When I rebooted it step me through some more steps , and ultimately the screen flaked out again.

But, one more reboot and I was up and going. It actually had me login, and it went to my desktop screen. So, maybe I'm good to go.

Oh, and this one did upgrade to pro
