thank you so much! that immediately activated, even after a reboot and I was then able to upgrade to windows 10 pro. one quick question: If I ever have to do a reinstall of windows 10 pro, that Ticket is saved on microsoft's server right? and would I just use the standard windows 10 pro serial number when installing?

Edit: I just kept hitting skip and do it later and it activated automatically when it got online. That was pretty neat.

Yep, your PC now has been registered at MS with Win10 Pro digital entitlement, which means you can re-install Win 10 at anytime and skip entering a key as it will be activated with the already registered entitlement.
